New Build

A new country house in the Cotswolds, built in local limestone with a sedum roof that allows the building to settle quietly into the English landscape. Steel-framed windows and a walled garden complete the composition.

The planning context required the use of local Cotswold limestone, which the design embraces as a primary material. The building is organised around a central courtyard, with the principal rooms oriented to the south and the garden. The sedum roof is planted with species native to the Cotswold limestone grassland.
