Casa del Olivar

A private residence set among ancient olive groves on a hillside above the Guadalquivir valley. The building responds to the topography through a series of terraced volumes in lime-rendered masonry, each oriented to capture the evening light across the valley.

The programme is organised as a sequence of interconnected pavilions, each with a distinct relationship to the landscape. Dry stone terrace walls — built using stone excavated from the site — extend the architecture into the hillside, creating a series of outdoor rooms that mediate between the building and the ancient olive groves.
